Wow, Secret Pal!

Wow - what a package from my SP9! I found surprise after surprise: 2 skeins of yarn, a candle, a bar of soap, a pair of handknit mittens (SP9, did you make them?), a pair of bamboo dp needles, point protectors, a tiny leather notebook and chocolates. Just take a look!

Now for some close-ups. Here is the yarn:

Here are the mittens, needles and point protectors. Aren't they the cutest point protectors you've ever seen? There is one glove and one cap to keep your dp needles together. I don't have anything like it in bag of knitting gadgets. I keep my dp needles tied together with twisties from bread bags.

Look at this lovely little book.

This photo shows a US penny in it for scale.

And last here's the detail of the spine of the book and leather tie to hold it shut. I've got to come up with an idea for some precious notes to keep in here.

Ooh! Is that Katia Rumba yarn? I love that yarn! I used it with some alpaca to make a shawl for a friend's mom who lives in Japan. She flipped for it!

Good stuff!

What an amazing package of goodies! Lucky you! And those mittens are beautiful. I wonder if your SP9 made them...

I'm happy that you like the gift :)One of the yarn is for felting. You can knit and felt bag for example. Its ideal for this technique. Unfortunately this mittens are not knitted by me, but they are really handmade.
